CAR 576 ARRIVES
Union Pacific Coach 576, which the P.S.R.M.A. purchased recently, came to its new home in fine style on Saturday, July 12. About 35 persons enjoyed a very smooth and comfortable ride down to San Diego after we accepted the coach during a brief acceptance ceremony in Los Angeles. 576 turned out to be in fine condition, and we were all quite pleased with it. Next month's REPORT will carry a full photo article of the ceremony and the excursion. (R.R.D.)
CAR 576 FUND
According to Eric Sanders, who has been supervising the Car 576 purchase and excursion, the present condition of the 576 FUND is as follows:
Purchase of 576, tax, and first year's storage.......... $1,412.
Donations received to date............................................ 490.
Profits from 576 Excursion................................................. 66.
BALANCE STILL OWED FOR U.P. COACH 576..... $856.
*Although only $66.00 is shown as profit from the excursion, the excursion saved us the cost of deadheading the car down here empty - about $57.00 - so the excursion actually earned around $123.00.

IMPORTANT GENERAL MEETING
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATION OF 1970 OFFICERS
The P.S.R.M.A. will hold its third quarterly meeting of 1969 on Sunday evening, July 20, at 7:30 P. M. The location will be in the Safety Room on the second floor of the Santa Fe Depot in San Diego.
The main item of business will be the nomination of the 1970 Executive Officers. The election of officers will be at the October 19th General Meeting. The offices open for nomination are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and one Member at Large. All the present officers in these positions are serving their first terms, and are therefore eligible for renomination. As this issue of REPORT goes to press, no nominations have been received by mail by the Secretary.
Also on the business portion of the program is a summary of Museum activities since the last quarterly meeting. Since mis will include the Fenton land negotiations and the acquisition of U. P. Coach 576, this will be an exceptionally interesting session. Don't miss it!
The entertainment portion of the program will be a slide presentation of European trams and railways by member Tom Matson. Tom spent several months in Europe with the Navy during 1966 and 1967 and spent most of his spare time taking pictures of the railways and streetcars. (T. M.)
