NEW YEAR'S RUN
start running about noon. Running will continue until sometime in the late after noon.
The operations will be opened to the public as well as members. Members with dues paid up for the years 1968 or 1969 will be allowed to operate the locomotive under the supervision of the crew on duty.
President Sanders has mentioned that the operation is "go", unless some insurance problem should arise.
Come on out for a fun first.
HELP! WE NEED YOU
Yes, we need your help. This time for once, we are not asking for money. This time around we need a little of your time.
On several occasions we have had a member on hand on weekends with the locomotives open for display. Now we need some of you members - both regular and contributing - to man the locomotives for a couple of hours on a Saturday or Sunday.
Members need not have a great deal of knowledge about the equipment. Brochures are to be made available for handing out to interested people.
It is felt that by having the engines open for inspection that the museum will create a better image of goodwill and maybe interest a few new members in the process.
