From San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railway Time-table 74, May 7, 1939;
"Trains approaching Mount Hope cemetery west of bridge 6 will use care to avoid meeting funeral parties where road crosses track. If any should be encountered there, hold train back and allow party to cross ahead of train..... "When using "set-out track," Kettner Blvd. and Broadway, San Diego, SD&AE Ry. trains will protect against San Diego Electric Railway inbound trains and must not delay the latter trains."
MUSEUM TO RECEIVE UNION NEWS
Kent Anderson, public relations director for PSRMA, has announced that the museum will receive the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen's weekly publication, "Trainmen News." The publication will be kept at the museum's office.

With RPO's just about gone, the air lines are having a field day handling mail. A leading railroad journal has checked up, however, and come up with this sad news: What took 24 hours by rail in 1905 took 96 hours by air last week. How much more of this kind of progress can our transportation system stand?"
