FOR THE RECORD
At SDCRM's third meeting held August 20 it was agreed that charter membership would close with the signing of a fourteenth member. "Report" was accepted as the official publication and members agreed that the Museum would now welcome publicity opportunities. An Oceanside museum proposal was discussed but no action was taken.
SDCRM's fourth meeting was in the form of a field trip to Campo on September 24. There, nine members inspected sites in and around Campo and Lake Morena. Although only one site was deemed worthy of consideration members did become better informed about prices, needs, availability and problems of land acquisition.
At the November 19 meeting held at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Lyle Judd SDCRM members present agreed to concentrate for the present on meeting bi-monthly and on the building of a treasury. Members also agreed to inquire into the values of affiliation with the Orange Empire Trolley Museum and the United Railway Museum.

President Lyle Judd called for an election of officers at the November 19 meeting. He also indicated that he would continue to be interested and active but can not serve another term as president.
